Once instaled, you just have to type "diasce2" in the command shell. It will launch DiaSCE and create a configuration file called .diasce2 in your home directory. It will then perform some detections of programs and libraries, and at last you'll be presented the main window. This windows has some elements that will be described in the next sections.
